Vid Shankar Rao was a well known Flutist hailing from Bengaluru who has taught many students for decades. He was nearing 100 years. A very humble and gentle Soul, he was the founder of PRAPANCHA, the music platform for so many Musicians. In his death, the world of Carnatic Muisc has lost a very noble Teacher who had a great passion to spread the joy of Music.
