Musa Gumus was born in Gaziantep City in 1963.
His first cartoon was published in GIRGIR Cartoon Magazine in 1980.
After working in cartoon magazines between 1984 and 1999,he moved on the universal cartoon activities,and took part in competitions.
To date,he has won 233 awards since 2001.
He worked as a cartoons teacher in MEF Schools in Istanbul for 18 years.
His Works have been entered in contests,exhibitions and catalogues and have been accepted to museums in 24 countries.
He has also served as a jury member in international competitions.
In 2008,one of his cartoons was converted into a monument and placed in Plaza de la Libertad in Porto,Portugal.
He has opened 7 personal exhibitions.
He is married and he has a young son named Can. He is a member of Turkish Cartoonists Association
