The cartoonist Gogu Neagoe from Romania is one of the most important artists in the world known worldwide, passionate about pencils and painting, caricature, whose works have reached dozens of countries in Europe, but also on other continents. He has appeared in numerous television shows, both in the country and abroad. Gogu Neagoe is one of the most famous and appreciated cartoonists in Romaniais a member of the Romanian Association of Professional Caricature since 2006, and since 2008 is a member of the International Association of Fine Arts in Germany UNESCO. He has participated in numerous national and international painting and caricature festivals, and his works are in private collections in Romania and abroad.

He graduated from the National College “Buzesti Brothers” in Craiova, and then the Institute of Plastic Arts “Nicolae Grigorescu” and the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest. He has appeared in many television shows, from home and abroad. The 44-year-old artist has dedicated his life to caricature works, taking his passion beyond limits he ever expected. He created hundreds of portraits, came in contact with dozens of heads of state, sports personalities and, most importantly, chose to donate his works to charity. In 2020, on Women’s Day, she participated in a charity event in Bucharest, donating to a noble cause. Gogu Neagoe made a number of 246 portraits of participants in the “Hope Run for Alexandra” cross for life. The amount collected from the beneficiaries of the caricature was donated in its entirety to help the policewoman from the Bucharest Road Brigade, diagnosed with malignant melanoma of the lower limb Clark 4.
