Doru Axinte was born on 04 December 1962 in Falticeni –Romania. Graduated at the Faculty of Law of the Police Academy-Bucharest , now in retirement . Currently, he is working as a freelancer artist concentrated mainly to cartoons and satirical graphic humor .
Started his artistic career as in 1990-debut with cartoons in the military press and then publishing in the Romanian newspapers and humor rewiews, book illustrations and other artistic projects. He was a member of international and national cartoon competitions.
In 2016 he was nominated as a cartoonist of the year (ToonsMAG- Norway) and in 2018 a Cartoonist of the year Award (1 Prize) Turkey (UWC Cartoon Contest).
It is part of the governance of the Union of World Cartoonists (UWC)-Turkey, alongwith prestigious international cartoonists.
His artworks is presented at individual and collective national and international exhibitions and at a number of international cartoon competitions. His cartoons were awarded with prestigious prizes , we can mention at least some of them :
