year 1972, is an eclectic versatile artist of international touch.

His experience as a scenographer has influenced the way he creates his artworks, since he sees the world like a huge proscenium with backstage, and life like a great stage show.

From Rome’s Academy of Fine Art to the life academy, he begins his experience: a long journey expressing  through his line an authentic reality, which draws together his external interpretation with his inner feeling.

In Pecchia’s artworks everything becomes emotion, shiver, smile, reflection, magic…

This dreamer’s artistic path with his pencil is always a journey. A drawing line characterized by both intensity and lightness. A travel with a suitcase full of sense of humor too.

The satirical drawing is in fact the characterizing trait of this “exegete of the forms”, nearly his signature…

A signature he tangibly left on the many national and international awards he won.

It is a poly matters way of testing, where forms taken from the imaginary  world are combined with the reality ones; and where the pastel colors recall the cartoon’s world.

He passes from the logo to the poster, from the publishing houses’ illustration to the magazines’ satirical drawing, from the sculpture to the tattoo, always keeping the sense of humor as a common denominator in every area.

Pecchia coherently follows the becoming with his technique and his style, maintaining the Essential of the Essence.
